I grew up on the South Side of Chicago, in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood. I was the only girl of 4 brothers, I grew up in a loving home with both parents, but things were not always easy. My mom was my everything! My rock and best friend, who poured all her wisdom, experience, and knowledge into me. My dad was the back bone of our family, I have never not seen him work hard for us. My parents tried to shield me the best way they could to make sure I didn’t see our family struggles. Battling with drug addiction and in and out of rehab it was impossible to not see the rollercoaster of my household. I remember them not having enough money to make ends meet. I remember utilities being shut off in the middle of winter and having to use candles and space heaters. These are the memories that inspired me to work hard and to keep working hard! I never want to go back to those days and I never want my family to have to experience that again.
I am an entrepreneur who has started several businesses and although all of them didn’t succeed, it helped mold me into the business woman I am today.
I love every aspect of the real estate business. I am truly a people person who works very hard and aggressively to make sure my clients are satisfied. I am a well-versed managing real estate broker who specializes in buy and flips in the Chicagoland area. I lead a team of brokers and investors at 5th Group Realty & Management. My background has covered but not limited to marketing and design of newly renovated homes, I am also a Licensed General Contractor and Real Estate Developer, Owner of Body Werks Spa, Blu Box Homes and Action for a Cause, a non for profit with an initiative to feed the homeless. I am an adept saleswoman who has years of experience working in a corporate setting.
I am a firm believer that every situation is a learning experience. I made mistakes as an investor and a landlord, and I make sure my clients do not make those same mistakes that I did and they learn from my experiences. I teach while I’m assisting my clients that way, they will be confident with some of the decisions they make in real estate whether they’re first time home buyers, investors, or sellers. The path to success is not easy. You have to let go fear and not be afraid of failing.
